I apologize for not getting back to people in a timely manner. I am working on getting my elderly parents settled in a new place and also taking care of my in-laws. I will be more responsive as soon as I can. I am pausing doing any breeding until we get some family things squared away. I am not expecting to be able to have kittens again until November or December 2023. I will post when I am expecting litters again. Thanks for your patience.
I do have some special case adults that need a loving home. I am looking for some fellow cat whisperers. Some of my cats ready for retirement, and some I had hoped to breed but they are not suited to live in a cattery. Please email me if you are interested and tell me about yourself. Lady MacBeth is a gorgeous seal-point Balinese. She is 4.5 years old. She is shy and needs love and patience. She will do best in a quiet home with no other cats. She likes to sit in my lap and feel protected while I pet her.
Kiera is shy but like to hang out wherever I am. She needs someone to work with her and be patient. She is 1.5 years old. Lilac tortie-point Balinese
Scammer alert: I continue to speak with people on a regular basis who have been scammed. It just breaks my heart. I know getting a kitten is partly an emotional decision and that is understandable. But please do your research. The scammers are clever. Please trust your gut if something seems off about your interaction with the breeder. There are many scam websites I know of who say they have kittens available, but they are just stealing photos from other breeder's websites. They have stolen mine. People are losing so much money and not getting a kitten. We can report them, but they just close one website and put up another one that looks exactly the same. And they are getting more clever with videos, phone numbers, and addresses where you can supposedly pick up the kitten.
Please do your homework when choosing a reputable breeder. Good breeders have waitlists because we are not kitty mills. A healthy, beautiful kitten is worth the wait. Nature and nurturing takes time. Call me if you need more information about who to trust. And please report any scams to the FTC. It is our only hope of getting any help stopping these criminals.

Why choose Gambades Cattery? Because buying a purebred kitten to be with you for maybe twenty years is about more than finding a beautiful cat. It is about adding a new family member to your home. I believe in breeding not only for beauty and health but I am also committed to putting in the time necessary to raise well socialized kittens who will interact with you and love you back. My family and friends help me out with this. My queens live with us freely as our pets. My stud, Marco, has his own room where I pet and play with him. He is such a sweet boy and loves to sit on my lap.
Gambades Cattery and all my cats except Aria are registered with the Cat Fanciers Association or Tica. Aria is registered with ACA. My price includes the first two rounds of vaccinations, two exams by a licensed veterinarian, CFA registration, and a healthy, sound kitten. I do require a purchase agreement that states the kitten will live indoors never be declawed. I am available for questions concerning your kitten's behavior and health. The buyer also agrees to neuter or spay the kitten when their vet deems it can be done safely, usually around six-months old. My cats and kittens are fed premium canned and dry food. My cats are periodically tested for the usual viruses and well cared for by excellent veterinarians on a yearly schedule. I do not vaccinate my cats for FIP, however they have been tested for the corona virus. I also have a closed cattery to keep my cats isolated from other cats who might bring a virus in.
